Dear Mr. and Ms. You:
I am writing this letter to let you know I resign, effective IMMEDIATELY. Today I resign from your judgments, opinions and unsolicited advice. I resign from you making me feel bad about decisions concerning my life. I am terminating our relationship and your ability to make me second guess myself because my actions don’t agree with your path for my life.
Today, I leave you with yourself. I leave you behind along with your insecurities and fears that you rest upon me because you’re afraid.
Today, you (fear, insecurity, doubt, lack of understanding, and whatever else) no longer affect me.
